Venice is a coastal community in the westside of Los Angeles County. It's known for its landscaped canals, located a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean. A visit to these canals, flanked by foliage and beautiful houses, makes one realize why its founders named it as they did, intending it to be the "Venice of America." It's all human created, reminding me of something Walt Disney might design. Every canal has this lucious foliage, pristine little bridges and small boats at ready. I found myself smiling at the conceit of it. You can see here I'm quite taken by the gorgeous reflections of the foliage and houses.
